Beer Festivals

Worthy of a wider circulation this week :

The Bricklayers Arms, Putney - last week voted SW London Pub of the Year - this week hosts its 3rd annual Yorkshire beer festival.

More details and beer list here.

The Rake, Borough Market celebrates all things Welsh kicking off on Sunday, St David's Day.

Alas, I have little further information but their email is info@utobeer.co.uk

Also remember next week, The Pembury Tavern beer festival, 4th to 8th March.

Don't forget that the Betjeman Arms at St Pancras Station is having a festival starting next Wednesday 4th March until the Saturday if the beers last that long.

It is starting one day earlier than their first festival last year, the beer order has been increased, and more importantly, there is a CAMRA members discount off each pint!

Two north London pubs are having beer frestivals for the St David's Day weekend. 10 beers at the Nobody Inn, Newington Green, N1 and 16 beers at the John Baird in Muswell Hill, N10. Both are owned by the same company. With 16 beers at the John Baird, they will last into next week. Both of these pubs will start selling the beers later this week as stock rotates through.

Not bad, 6 beer festivals in one week!

Cheers,
John.
